Chicks....

We had two...and they're not called Abbie and Amelia....I don't actually think we have ever named them, but we had two ACTUAL chicks...cheep cheep kind of chicks....

And YES my girls LOVED them.....

And did it sound like a good idea when Amelia's Kindergarten teacher was hatching them in class?? Sure, it sounded like a fun cute project to bring home two chicks....

I was over it after about 3 days....although I had to suffer through a few more weeks before the girls would let me give them to friends of ours who actually raise chickens (I had arranged this before even bringing them home!!)

I will never be a chicken farmer (or whatever they want to call themselves:))

But the girls enjoyed it while it lasted...!
