Growing up we always used the phrase..."last one in's a rotten egg" why? I don't know, but we did.....anyway, I'm guessing I must have said it more than once to 'encourage' my kids to get in the car and put their seatbelts on, but my cute little Amelia has her own spin on it and I just realised what she was saying last week....."First one in's a chocolate egg" .....talk about positive thinking:) Just today she was in the car scratching away at her leg and I said to her "be careful, you might scratch your leg off" just joking around with her and in all seriousness she replied, "No.....look it's still there" Oh the sweet innocence:) I love that cute little five year old ........even when......she cut her own hair last week!!!
OK so that morning, they had just got cute little dresses in the mail from Auntie Amy for their birthday...so I have a real true "before" picture......
She walked up to me and said "Mom, do you love my hair?" and I looked up and thought or quite possibly said in a not loving it kind of way "what .....did...... you....... do???" At which point her proud of herself happy face crumbled into a not so happy why what did I do face and she ran away......

...she couldn't quite reach the back but the front got pretty short....she just wouldn't let me take a photo of it:)
So I fixed her up good enough to get her to school the next morning.......
