Lake Saguaro (hope I'm spelling it right)

It's pronounced totally different to how it's spelled so I really am not sure - I could probably google it, but where's the fun in that?
So we went to the lake for the FIRST time since moving to AZ and getting the boat - in fact it's the first time since the end of last summer (which considering it's July already is a long time away from the lake for us!)
It was an interesting experience having to do the whole boat thing ourselves - we have been spoilt by always having had the boat ready in the water for us - and we managed to lose the boat cover somewhere en route from our house to the lake (we did go back and look for it but we didn't find it), and almost, almost lost the tube cap in the lake - Andrew dove in after it and actually got it (not sure why it works that way for a $2 tube cap and not the $250 sunglasses......)

Anyway, we went with our friends, Susan, Scott and their daughter Taylor and had a lovely afternoon. Weather was hot but lovely once you'd been in the water.

The lake is really pretty and we even spotted a bald eagle....

 

OK maybe we spent a little too much time watching the bald eagle and me trying to get pics of it - but it was really cool (for me anyway!)
